Lloseta
Lloseta

Mainly an agricultural town in the 19th century, Llosetta soon built an industry based textiles, particularly footwear and fabrics. Little remains of the cloth making today save for the craft shops, some of which still retain the old looms making fabrics in the original Mallorcan style. The making of footwear is still an important local industry and many of the local businesses export across Europe. The town is distinctly Mallorcan with few tourist attractions (itself an attraction!), with the notable exceptions of the prehistoric Talayotic fortification, springs of Sa Font and Font Nova and the Cocó Hermitage built in 1877. There are a few restaurants and bars, a much wider selection may be found in Inca, a short drive to the east.
