The ancient town of Pollença with its famous churches and Calvario is sited below the Puig Maria on the plains, just inland from Port de Pollença. Steeped in history, the old town has much to interest the discerning traveller with an excellent selection of restaurants and bars which serve the local community and can provide a taste of the “real” Mallorca to visitors.
