Close to the centre of the old town, this little hostal has been such since the days of horse drawn carriages. Though neither the purpose of the building nor the name has changed in centuries, guests can be assured that the interior has been carefully restored. The owner Toni is also the proprietor of the 3 star Hotel Juma up the road, and l'Hostal is equally comfortable and welcoming. One enters to the old enclosed courtyard which now serves as reception and leads to the breakfast dining area where one enjoys fresh ensaimadas with hot coffee amongst other things. (Toni sources the best ensaimadas!) Lift access is to the bedrooms, all of which are en suite and are air conditioned/heated and there are also inter connecting family rooms. There are plenty of dining options in the old town but if desired, there are special terms at the local Restaurant l'Auborada located just off the square a short stroll away. I'Hostal is a good, inexpensive choice available year round.
