In the year 1459 the Posada de Lluc was donated to the sanctuary of Lluc by a nobleman of the era. Thus the house became a retreat for monks and their students who stayed here to rest after visiting the monastry at Lluc and was also a meeting point for pilgrims before going to the sanctuary. The house became a private residence again in the 19th century and in 2002 the medieval town house has been completely transformed into a quality hotel. It is beautifully furnished with local furniture, has only eight characterful bedrooms and a pleasant garden with swimming pool. All the rooms are air conditioned and heated with mini bar, satellite TV, hair dryer and safe. Bikes may be hired from Posada de Lluc with which to explore your surroundings; of course walking is ideal in this north east corner or for complete relaxtion, why not let the hotel masseuse spoil you?
