Dating from 1784, Son Siurana is set in grounds of more than 100 hectares amongst almond, fig trees and pastureland, yet only 8km from Port de Pollença. The Mallorcan owners invite guests to feel at home in a high quality finca with modern conveniences whilst enjoying authentic Mallorcan country life. The accommodation at Son Siurana is decorated in typical Mallorcan style featuring handmade ceramics and rustic antique furniture. Within the grounds are long walks with many paths affording magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and villages. There is a restaurant service with Siurana's garden grown vegetables used to prepare excellent Mallorca cuisine (set menu) and snacks are served all day from the bar. Within the grounds are a large pool and terraces. The accommodation is neither hotel or self catering and fits into either category! All bedrooms are serviced daily, en suite, air conditioned, centrally heated and have security boxes, satellite TV and hi-fi's. The main building serves as the reception and public area above which are 2 apartments comprising: kingsize double en suite, twin en suite, kitchen and living room with satellite T.V. (No terrace or balcony). Attached to the main building are a further 2 units comprised as the aforementioned except with terrace. Nearby are 3 casitas each with own outside terrace, kitchen (only a 2 ring hob + oven), living area and double bedroom en suite. A further suite sleeping 2 is in the main house. Put-u ups are available for additional persons as required. Breakfasts are optional (approx £7) and may be served in the main building or in your accommodation. Dinners can be provided by outside caterers and on Tues and Thurs, the restaurant serves in a more formal atmosphere. Depending on the season, guests will be able to pick fruit and vegetables from the garden. Highly recommended. Note: there are no welcome packs at this property.
